There are many things to celebrate your love for this month — and BIODIVERSITY should be one of them.

These days, finding love and connection can be hard. You can scan all blogs, read all the books, try all the apps, and the search continues. But did you know there is a lot we can learn about relationships from the wilder part of our world? For example:
- Penguins will search entire beaches for the perfect pebble to use to propose.
- Sea horses mate for life and will often swim around holding each other’s tails.
- Pufferfish create elaborate works of sand art for their future mate.
- Elephants will embrace by linking their trunks just as humans hold hands.
- Whales will sometimes use song to attract a partner.
Like our own relationships, BIODIVERSITY is intricate, varied and diverse, and requires a good deal of TLC to keep it alive. But it also faces it’s fare share of challenges too. Today, this vital piece of our world is on the rocks, with over 70% of species in decline. If we don’t put in the work, we stand to lose what relationships we have left with the animal world — and possibly our own.
