A new commitment between Wildlife Conservation Society’s largest country program and Central African Forest Commission is bringing new hope for combating biodiversity loss in the Congo Basin.

Wildlife Conservation Society (WCS) and the Central African Forest Commission (COMIFAC) agreed to a new partnership which will help conserve and equitably govern 30% of marine and land areas. A first of its kind partnership, it will help deliver nature-based solutions to combat biodiversity loss and climate change in the Congo Basin.
